It was you who taught me the words to say.<\/p>\n

The words that invited my Heavenly Father, my Jesus, to live in my life at the early age of four.<\/p>\n

It was your love for me that gave me a sliver of understanding into the depths of His great love, for me, for us all.<\/p>\n

Your tender and protective care for your one and only daughter, gave me a small glimpse of His greatest sacrifice.
\n<\/p>\n

This sacrifice that gave His one and only son,
\nto save me, to save us all.<\/p>\n

Though you were not perfect, as none of us are,
\nyou were always there.<\/p>\n

In my raging, uncertain, teenage years,
\nmy far-from-perfect years,
\nyou pursued me relentlessly. <\/p>\n

Always pointing me back to that which is certain,
\nHim who is unchanging. <\/p>\n

Never giving up. Always desiring the best for me.<\/p>\n

Making great sacrifices, giving up big dreams,
\nfor me, for your family. <\/p>\n

In doing so, you taught me that I have a Heavenly Father
\nwho is ever present. <\/p>\n

From whom I can always depend. <\/p>\n

Never leaving nor forsaking me.<\/p>\n

Pursuing me relentlessly. <\/p>\n

Taking me as I am, regardless of my flaws, my imperfections.<\/p>\n

Giving me His very best.<\/p>\n

A perfect Father, the only one who loves me, loves you, love us all,
\ncompletely, unconditionally. <\/p>\n

Thank you, Dad for always being there
\nand desiring only the best for me. <\/p>\n
