When I think of you friend my heart wants to burst. You have been there for me through it all.
From girlhood crushes to wedding days. From the dreams of yellow houses with white picket fences and true love. To the realities of labor pains and new life and crazy chaos bursting from the seams.
You have listened on the line as I’ve poured out my fears. We have grieved, we have cried. We have rejoiced, we have laughed. Until our tears have all dried and bellies both ache.
My sister at heart and this is much thicker than blood. You have waded trough thick, tread lightly through thin. You are my friend to the end, the thick and the thin.
This post is part of Five Minute Friday series. I get the one word prompts from Lisa Jo-Baker on Friday. The rules are simple. Write for five minutes flat. There is no extreme editing; no worrying about perfect grammar, font, or punctuation. It is unscripted. Unedited. Real.
Today’s prompt was: Friend

I am richly blessed because God has given me a garden of friends. Some live near, some far, some new, some for years and a couple for a many, many years . They are all my sisters at heart, dear friends to the end. What a party we will all have in Heaven someday. Love to all.
