“You will show me the path of life;
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalms 16:11 NKJV
My joy is not found in the absence of troubles but in a deep assurance that God is always near.
My joy is found not only on the mountain tops of life but in the mundane, stress filled, weary moments, the dark valleys, the uncertain waiting.
The moments that weigh heavy, echoing empty, hopeless, defeated. God’s presence, greater in these voids. He waits, unwavering, to fill, embrace, restore and sustain me.
Choosing His narrow path, He reveals His infinite beauty, His tender mercy, at every turn. His steadfast love spurring me on to greater joy.
His joy leads me beside quiet, still, refreshing waters of peace. This joy that I choose, is secure, never to be taken away nor lost.
I rest assured in the Eternal Hope of Jesus. He is my Way, my Truth and my Life. He is my Joy for the journey.
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6 NIV
“He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”
Psalm 23:2-3 NIV

Grateful that the Lord is with us in every up and down and side to side of life. I am also grateful for the gift of your words.
