You were created for me.
I was created for you.
From the beginning, predestined to be mine.
You were formed in another woman’s womb.
Never will I joyfully experience your first movement.
Yet, He moves in me, forging bonds thicker than blood.
Your heart never beating strong, tucked under my own.
Yet, my love for you was conceived in my heart.
Beating strong, coursing through every fiber of my being.
Never an after thought nor second best.
You are my own, chosen, fiercely loved.
You are my heart’s desire, my rich gift.
Never will I witness in awe, the gift of your first breath.
Yet, I will go to battle for you until my very last breath.
Standing in the gap, speaking truth and life over you.
Even so, there is a love much fiercer.
His love, going as far as the ends of the earth.
He is coming for you. Nothing, holding Him back.
He is your defender. He fights for you.
You are precious and honored in His sight.
You are called by His name, created for His glory.
He gathers you, tucks you safe in His embrace.
Do not fear. He is with you. He has redeemed you.
You are His, sweet daughter of mine.
